Active since 2017 and located in Wuppertal, Germany, the band Pirates In Black is leaving their first mark with the self titled debut album. The new formation was found by some veterans of the German Hard Rock scene like: Falu Faltu, Hans Heringer, Accu Becher and Carl Clover who were members of different Heavy Rock Bands such as Universe. The musical output of Pirates In Black combines steady classic Hard Rock with warm tempered vocal ranges seasoned with a very strong bluesy touch. This Bluesy vibe is created through the guitarwork, which reminds me clearly to Zakk Wylde’s playing. All in all a very promising debut album that was produced by noone else as: Peter Dirkschneider, the brother of Udo Dirkschneider (Accept).
