Finally an album where Limb Music has done the production just right. This is US Metal that has kept it's rough edges, has that extra bit of punch and kicks you right up the backside. So hats off to producer Bart Gabriel for doing such a cracking job.

Firewölfe hails from the USA and have made it their misson to make sure that we don't forget that most of the great US Metal actually came from the west side of the Atlantic. This is their third full length album and after a wait of seven years I can only conclude that is has been more than worth the wait. Melodic heavy metal with a very good voice that will take you back in time once in a while. You'll hear some snippets of Chastain, but also early Virgin Steele. Oh, and some Ten and Axe.

As you notice it's quite a blend of bands, but they have made it their own, and the deciding factor in this is the very distinctive voice of Freddy Krumins. He isn't the world's most exciting singer, but his sound complements the music and lifts it just that bit higher. Conquer All Fear really pushes you forward, it drives you on and makes you anticipate whatever will be next.

As you gather, I really dig this. Now let's just hope that we don't have to wait another seven years
