Viking Metal is one of the most underrated genres within the compete heavy music scene. It is such a pity, as there are so many good albums. Some of them even so much so, that they are sold out and need a re-release. Well, the Swedish Harmdaud is a band that has had the experience of their debut album Blinda Dödens Barn selling out.
I can understand why, as this is very good. Heavy, mean, rough, anything but subtle and foremost very pleasant to listen to. Heavy, death, black and symphonic metal are battling it out, so you’ll hear keyboards duelling with blastbeats and ultra-low tuned guitars. And it’s all in harmony with each other. I love it.
This is going to be released in a limited number of vinyl albums, 250 units in a GATEFOLD Cover (100x golden marbled & 150x black). So, if you wish to retain one of them, you need to act fast. Their Bandcamp site should help you further. Good luck.
