Potbelly from the USA was already founded back in 1995. Like their mates from NunSlaughter, they also have released more than a hundred items! Poor collectors who want to have it all…        This album was a US-only release with a black-/white cover. Now this European version has a coloured cover. And I couldn´t stop laughing when I saw this first: Band logo, artwork and album title are an obvious tribute to the Misfits album “Legacy Of Brutality“. So I expected Horror Punk with singalong refrains here, but actually it´s not! Of course Potbelly are a Punk band, but the vocals are pretty aggressive and the music has Metal influences as well. So the song title “Punx Can Metal Too“ tells the truth, haha! All in all, there are twenty-two tracks included here. Only three of them are longer than three minutes. All others are shorter! That´s Punk attitude indeed! The songs are short, fast and brutal. There´s no boredom here. I could also imagine that they´re an energetic live act. This is the kind of Punk that Metalheads also like! Cheers!
