Thunderor is a Canadian band hailing from Toronto, consisting of JJ Tartaglia and Jonny Nesta of Skull Fist, and Oscar Rangel (Operus, ex-Annihilator). This album Fire It Up is to be released this year. For those not in the know, this is fast and furious old school heavy eighties heavy metal with rather high-pitched vocals.

If that’s not your cup of tea you might as well stop reading. If it is, then you might see Thunderor as a future promise, as they go at it in full swing, without taking any prisoners. The star of the show is undoubtedly JJ Tartaglia, as he is the one who started it all, has written all the tunes, plays the drums, the keys and sings as well.

I’ll just say one thing; you can definitely hear that this is a Canadian band. How to do that is easy; the quality of the music is unmistakable, the production is not only crisp and clear, but also a combination of heavy and melodic. Plus, when they slow down (Dangerous Times), they have that Triumph meets Santers aura over them. When they go full force, they’re like the melodic brothers of Exciter mixed with Saxon, who also have a drummer that sings.

The album will be let loose to the world on the 25^th of February 2022. Go ahead, find it and enjoy. Just look it up on the record company site.
