Urgent is a French band that makes melodic hard rock/metal whilst singing in English. To be quite honest, I would have preferred they'd sung in French, as the pronunciation of some of the lyrics is a bit dodgy. Although it's just fine most of the time, I feel the emotions would have come out stronger if they would have used their native language. The past has proven this fact more than once (Trust, Océan, High Power).

Does that feat make this a bad album? Not at all. This is more than okay, but also something that has been done time and time again. Sometimes worse than this, sometimes better, a lot of the time in a similar vein and quality. So to move yourself a cut above the rest you need something that will make you stand out. And Urgent just doesn't have that extra incentive to give. Still, I enjoyed Point of No Return, as it does enter your ears in quite a pleasant fashion. That'a due to a proper production.
