Officially formed back in the year 1989, but changed name in to Dark Millenium in the year 1991. Dark Millenium is one of the strongest, but also most lost and overviewed Death Metal bands in the European scene. High profile Progressive/Death/Doom Metal, still in that awesome nineties way. Great instrumentation, including several fast musicial up tempo parts. Also the great keyboard sound is great and add something unique. As well, all the fitting guitar work, including all those epic riffs, driving drums and solid bass lines. The singer fits perfectly in the music. Vocalist, ‘Christian Mertens’ sounds dirty and brutal as he always did. Think about: Martin Van Drunen meets Chuck Schuldiner. Good to have them back in the ring. Awesome work. Love it, great record!
