Impact are one of the grandfathers of Dutch Heavy Metal. They released two albums in the glorious 1980´s. This CD here should have been their third album, but it remained unreleased until today. I don´t know why because the songs are pretty great! They still played classic Heavy Metal in the vein of bands Saxon, Tygers Of Pan Tang or Tokyo Blade. Their Dutch comrades from Highway Chile and Stranger sounded quite similar back then. We got rocking riffs here, pounding drums, hymnic choruses, melodic vocals, wild solos and some nice twin-guitars. That´s everything a real metalhead needs! There are also six bonus tracks included here; all of them have never been released on cd before (except Track 16). So every true Metal collector should get this!
