This is actually the fourth single of the Amsterdam based collaboration called June Sixteen. Angelique Piovillico (song writing) & Patrick de Kok (bass, My Favorite Scar) are the heart of the band, and they employ a lot of guests to make their songs work.
On Hold Me they have Dom Sky on vocals, Gio Sliwa (Bertus Borgers) on guitars, Mike Coolen (Within Temptation) on drums and Thijs Schrijnemakers (Orgelvreten) on the Hammond organ.
The song is pure rock, laid back and sometimes lazy, but also with the kind of promise and/or threat that keeps you on the edge of your seat. It's quite a pleasurable song, so looking out for their debut album is the next item on the list. That should see it's release on June 16 2022 (when else?), which also coincides with being the day the heart of the band tie the knot. May they live long and prosper.
The album is available through https://sjerruf.nl/ as Digital Download.
