Secrets (1986)

The Heavy Metal band Carrie from Münster in Germany was active from 1983 to 1986. In 1984, guitarist Wilfried Schneider and drummer Uwe Strack (both from Mad Max) joined the band. In 1985, there was a sampler track entitled „The Assassin“ on “Metallic Bunnys“, in 1986, they finally released their one and only album “Secrets”. It featured ten tracks of pure, wild Heavy Metal, the old school way, with wild guitar solos and doublebass which could be compared to the likes of Judas Priest and Accept. Here and there you could also find some thin keyboards in the back. But the main attention get the vocals here. The female voice by was high and powerful, so there are also comparisons to bands like Warlock, Bitch and Crystal Pride too. The music was well-played and the clear production was good too. There are no bonus tracks featured here, but the CD comes in a nice digipack sleeve. Cool stuff!
