The Satanic Cult masters are back again! The band Kat was formed in late 1979 and released two legendary cult albums for the worldwide underground scene, “Metal And Hell” from 1985 and “666” from the year 1986. Now these legends from Katowice, Poland are back again with their 10th studio album. What can I say? As an old fan of the Satanic Speed Metal the band made in their early days of their career. This was the greatest Black Metal band behind the iron curtain at that time! Well, these notorious days during the communism are clearly over. The music today is much more Rock ‘N’ Roll orientated. I would say it’s a bit in the spirit of a band like: Motorhead (probably this was also a band the musicians grew up with their selves). So the music is still old school minded and the guys are looking like a bunch of Lemmy’s and Tom Angelripper’s, so yes old Metal biker farts with the right roots in music with listening to bands like: Sodom, Tank and Motorhead. It’s just their raw evil cultic style/image of the mid-eighties are far ways behind us. Are the guys grown up now, no idea? All I can say, for me this is just a decent album and nothing more or less. I personally prefer to stick to their heavy & dark classics from 1985 and 1986 and give those destructive eighties records another spin and bang my bald/old skull for Satan! Objective no bad album at all but the cult is dead and times are changed!
