I come from an era of listening to Heavy Metal that you could keep up with every release there was. That time is long gone, so I regularly find interesting bands that have been around for quite some time but somehow have eluded me until now. Ritual Steel is one of those cases. Now I'm just thinking: why the hell, did I sold all their great records back in the day and never really cared about what these Germans are doing. Because let's face it, this is quite good stuff. Old fashioned mid-tempo Heavy Power Metal with a fitting voice, melodic passages and enough musicality to impress. Really dig it!
