The Swiss Speed/Thrash legends POLTERGEIST were formed back in the year 1983 as Carrion and changed name in 1985 into Poltergeist. Now the band is back with their fifth studio-album "Feather Of Truth"! As always the band delivers a great Speed/Thrash Metal manifest with various speeds, great harmonies, clean, powerful vocals and technical influences from bands like: Annihilator and Toxik. Poltergeist is an underrated band (at least over here in The Netherlands), really nobody knows about them. Nevertheless I heard about them but that’s all, so I was happy to check them out, when I saw them last year, live in Oberhausen, Germany. It was a cool gig so when I received the new album for writing a review and a request to do also an interview with the boys, I was really into that. Because this band delivers some great old school Metal for fans into bands like: Artillery, Toxik, Annihilator and the late eighties Destruction, think about: Released From Agony and Cracked Brain.
