Through personal issues and struggles, there were many releases not reviewed the past year. But better late than never, isn’t? This is Bonded’s 2nd studio album from 2021. Bonded is a German Thrash Metal group from the Dortmund area. The band sounds heavy with a lot of technical skill. Bernemann (ex-Sodom) is an insane guitarists, who played with a lot of passion and crushing riffs. The vocal parts on this album were still done by Ingo Bajonczak, the singer who’ve left the band in 2023. His vocal performance were the perfect blend between Chuck Billy from Testament and Lemmy from Motörhead. Raw and powerful. I am sure every Sodom fan from the 90’s and 2000 era will love Bonded. The music and songwriting is good and you can clearly hear where these guys came from. A well-produced studio album from a sadly enough still underrated Metal band. In 2023 the band added a new singer Manuel Bigus (personally I am not sure what will happen musically) and in 2022 they already added former Kreator bassist Christian Giesler to the line-up. I am really curious to hear some fresh new tones from these guys. For now, the first two Bonded albums are highly recommended to every Thrash Metal fan and I am looking forward to a new Bonded album.
