Hornado are a Heavy Metal band from Bonn in Germany. They were already founded in 2005 and have released two albums so far which are both released as cool tape versions now via Headbangers Records from Tilburg. Both albums were originally released on CD exclusively. Now there are professional tape versions. The debut album “Wild Temple “ from 2016 comes on a yellow and the second album “Supersonic Punch” from 2019 on a blue fabricated tape, both with full-coloured, two-sided booklets. Both albums sound nearly the same; no difference in style and sound. Their simple music is fast and with lots of doublebass and hymnic choruses. There´s a lot of party mood here. The band don´t take themselves too serious, but that´s okay because they always sound honest and authentic. The lyrics all full of clichés. That´s how it´s meant to be! Their guitarist Mad Matt is also the bass player of Neck Cemetery featuring Rock Hard editor Jens Peters on vocals who play a quite similar sound. Hornado can also be compared to bands like Iron Kobra, Dragonsfire, Steelpreacher or – as already mentioned - Neck Cemetery. Everybody who likes this kind of stuff should grab both tapes here to keep his collection complete!
