Decaptacon is a great melodic Death Metal band coming from the German North Rhine-Westphalia area. This is the band’s 2nd full-length studio album and it nails. It’s groovy, catchy and full of awesome riffs and full of epic solos. Also the bass and drums are super tight. As well the vocal parts of Joshua Dominik, those fits perfectly to the music style of the band. The band is playing a more melodic Scandinavian style of Death Metal in the vein of bands like In Flames and Insomnium.
The album was recorded and mixed by the band's own drummer Ralf Präkelt (also involved in the making of releases by The Night Eternal, Destroy Them, Manifestic, In Weak Lights...).
Mastered by Dan Swanö (also involved in the making of releases by Edge of Sanity, Bloodbath, Insomnium, Omnium Gatherum, Opeth...).
A great produced album with a wall of sound!
