Hatriot was formed in the year 2010 in Oakland, California by Exodus singer Steve Souza and his son Cody Souza (bass-vocals),all together with 3 other fellows the band was formed.

In 2012, another family member, Nick Souza (drums) joined the band and the band was ready to Thrash the Bay Area like they never did before! Old school Thrash Metal, the way their father did and still does!

On the 2019 studio album ‘From Days unto Darkness’, Father Steve left the band and his son Cody did a really great job to continue the way his old men taught him.

But with their new studio album ‘The Vale of Shadows’ from 2022, the Souza sons created something more modern and authentic by their own.

This because Cody is a very skilled singer and his vocal parts are very diverse. They are going from the more old school style, till a much more death metal, hardcore, and metalcore influenced way of singing screaming.

Also the rest of the musicians are highly qualified and dedicated.

Love the solo’s and hard hitting drums, they really nail!

The album comes with a great artwork and modern and fresh production!
