Emetropia is a symphonic melodic metal band from Linköping in Sweden. They were formed in 2017 and when they decided what kind of music to play, they have opted to choose for energetic and dynamic metal, which is very much driven by massive and orchestral parts in conjunction with well-placed big choirs.
This gives you Equinox, a very happy metal album that will lift your spirit, especially because everything is thought out, conducted and played exactly right. It’s all well executed and a real enjoyment to listen to in general. Somehow Emetropia have a little edge on their rivals in this music scene that they can keep it fresh, open but also interesting and captivating at the same time. This never gets dull.
This sometimes sounds sweeter than a candy cane, which should throw ne off. I say that because people who know me know that I am not really a fan, but still, I do like Equinox.
