Old school metalheads unite! Septem are on their way to show you how they have translated their love for the old-fashioned heavy metal into a brand-new album (and their third) called Pseudonica. It’s fast furious, heavy and melodic all pulled into one great sounding style that really fits these Italians like the proverbial glove.

If you love your Italian power metal, but done in a way that is far more reminiscent of the British heavy metal bands than you really can’t go wrong with Septem. You will think of Judas Priest, sometimes of Raven and even Iron Maiden, but also of the faster NWOBHM bands. You might even hear some melodic death metal in the mix, like In Flames used to play in the Colony era. Good thing is that the sound is certainly up to date.

To add to the variety within the music Septem uses two voices, a clean one and a rough one. And they work very well together and enhance the music where they need to. This is fresh and invigorating, without Septem ever trading new grounds. But who cares if it done in such a convincing way. Then it is just a case of putting on the album and letting it flow through your veins.
