Lifelong a Dutch band playing a Doom / Sludge Metal mix according to all. TBH I don’t give a shit about all those labels people put on a band. For me it’s, you like it, or you don’t! And Fuck Yes I like this one!!

So now the album on VINYL after its initial CD release, album cover looks good just like the CD version so no surprise there. Think it would be even better with a nice lyrical inlay, but as I am told, they will be released with an inlay, my version came without it.

I was pleasantly surprised with the songs, for me it sounds fucking dark with loads of atmosphere and most of all very heavy.. And yes of course you can hear the Doom the whole album but hey at least I certainly didn’t fell asleep.. hehe. Vocally for me it was like old “Life Of Agony” meets “Type O Negative” so a perfect match for the music. If you like the bands I already mentioned and bands like “Marche Funèbre” you should definitely check these guys out…
